She/Her/Hers
Hi there, I’m Claire. I’m glad you are here! Your story and your healing are deeply important, and I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
My practice is person-centered and trauma-informed, and we’ll work together to create a space where you feel safe, validated, and supported. I emphasize attachment- and strengths-based approaches when working with clients, and like to borrow elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to support our work together. I have experience working with adolescents and young adults, and have a passion for supporting those impacted by anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, as well as folks who are neurodivergent and/or managing chronic illness.
I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Michigan State, focusing my studies and experiences on violence prevention and intervention. I have previously held positions with several sexual assault and domestic violence agencies throughout Ingham County, in residential and shelter environments, and in higher ed settings.
When I’m not working, I enjoy tending to my garden, reading, baking, and adventuring with friends and my goofy pup, Juniper.
I look forward to connecting with you!
