I’m a graduate student currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Michigan State University. I’m completing my internship here at North Star Wellness Center as part of my training to become a licensed therapist.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s rooted in a genuine, trusting relationship between the therapist and the individual. For me, the therapeutic connection is the heart of the healing process, and I’m committed to creating a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. In this relationship, I see myself as a guide, walking alongside you as you navigate your own journey towards growth and well-being.
I bring a grounded, curious, and nonjudgmental presence into the therapy room. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I’m honored to be a part of that process for those I work with.
I’m particularly passionate about working with women who are navigating the complexities of balancing multiple roles or significant life transitions, as well as young adults and adults who may be having feelings of anxiety or depression. That being said, I’m committed to working with individuals of all identities and I’m eager to provide support to people from all walks of life.
Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and my 4-year-old cat, Arthur (I will never hesitate to show pictures of him)!
