Hello, I’m Arie! I am originally from metro Detroit and went to Michigan State University to get my Bachelors in Mathematics. Prior to joining North Star Wellness Center, I've been employed as a Math teacher and tutor, done administrative and advocacy work for a trans community group, worked with Michigan's education Union, and have assisted clients with navigating accessibility in their work and school.
 

Here, I look forward to helping people access the mental health care they’re seeking, and I’m excited to be able to foster a compassionate and welcoming office environment. Furthermore, I’m passionate about improving the systems that clients and therapists interact with so that both are supported throughout this process.
 

In my free time, I enjoy reading - particularly horror and scifi. I also crochet and modify a lot of my own clothes. Furthermore, I enjoy being outside as much as possible, and I have way too many houseplants.
