Elizabeth Andrews is a clinician in training at Michigan State University, where she is pursuing her Master of Social Work with a focus on Evidence-Based Trauma Treatment, expected in Spring 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Ferris State University and dual Associate degrees in General Arts and Sciences and General Studies from Northwestern Michigan College, with credits applied from two years of Psychology training at the University of Dallas.
Elizabeth is dedicated to working with adult and teen trauma survivors across diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced domestic abuse, familial trauma, cult indoctrination, justice system trauma, anomalous trauma, and C-PTSD. She has a special interest in supporting clients diagnosed with Cluster B personality disorders, as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, identity issues, substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, and relationship challenges, including couples navigating complex dynamics.
Elizabeth is particularly interested in how the mind and body intersect, exploring how these connections impact trauma, healing, and overall well-being. With a research-based, open-minded, client-centered approach, she is committed to tailoring her methods to the unique needs of each individual she serves, understanding the distinct perspectives and experiences of every person.
In addition to her internship as a therapist, Elizabeth is pursuing a Holistic Health Practitioner degree from the National Institute of Health in Hawaii. Her interests include reading, traveling, creating visual art, running, dancing, and spending time outdoors.”
