Hi, I’m Katie. I am here to create an accepting, affirming space where you can heal and connect with your inner power. I see adults aged 18 and older. I have a passion for working with college students, LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergent folks (ADHD, ASD, etc), and those dealing with cultural issues or oppression. I have the most experience with clients who deal with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and life transitions. 

 

I have been at North Star since August of 2020 and graduated with my Master's from Michigan State University in May of 2021. Before graduate school, I was a volunteer tutor through Immigrant Connection for those taking their citizenship exams and loved it. At MSU, I was a College Transition Advisor (CTA) at Michigan State University’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), where I supported freshmen students with backgrounds in migrant farm work. I also worked at the MSU Writing Center and enjoyed meeting students with a multitude of life experiences. In my spare time, I enjoy comedy, videogames, art, film, petting all the cats and dogs, and learning new languages.
