She/Her/Hers
Hi, I’m Julia. I am here to help foster a safe space in order for you to heal emotionally and grow as an individual. I see adolescents and adults. I am passionate about working with transnationally adopted adolescents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent individuals, and people who are experiencing PTSD, depression and anxiety.
I receieved a Master's of Social Work from Michigan State University. I also graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and Spanish. At Michigan State, I was a college transition advisor (CTA) at the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) where I provided support to a cohort of first-year students who came from migrant farm working backgrounds.
My practice is rooted in social justice and intersectionality. Many of us have experienced inequities and disparities without having the safe space to process our emotions and heal from our trauma. It is important to me that you feel heard and seen and that you feel validated. My goal as your therapist is to guide you on your journey of self liberation and to step into your own power.
